12.15 - 13.15             Lunch provided for Grandparents and guests in Foyer
13.15 - 14.30             Classes for all
14.30 - 15.45              Assembly:

• National Grandparents Mr Robert Carrickford and Ms Maeve Binchy honoured

• Ms Una Hayden cofounder of Grandparents Obliterated
  

• Ms Mamo McDonald  Cathaoirleach Age & Opportunity and Human Rights Activist
  

• Ms Sylvia Meehan has worn many hats but is particularly remembered for her work with the Council for the Status of Women
  

• Ms Cathleen O'Neill Community Activist Kilbarrack and Human Rights Activist
  

• Ms Catherine Rose founder of Arlen House, Ireland's first feminist publishing company and now Chief Executive of Age & Opportunity
  

• Ms Mahin Sefidvash cofounder of Irish Refugee Council, member of Council of the UN Association of Ireland, founder of UNIFEM Ireland; Advocate for rights of immigrants and refugees
  

Special Awards:
CCC Annual Human Rights will be awarded to Mr Robert Carrickford Emeritus President Actors' Equity and loyal friend of CCC's GDS
Special award to Ms Kitty Parkes Ledden for her contribution as an organiser in the Women's Laundry Workers' Strike of 1945 which won paid holidays for her union members; this led to holiday payments for all women employed in the State.
